Why can't I do X in Team Garage?
Last updated 20 days ago
Team Garage is deliberately narrow — identity, readiness, and service history for a driver's vehicle. Here's what it doesn't do, and where to go instead.
"Why can't I log tire pressures on a team vehicle?"
Tire pressure tracking lives in the personal Garage only, tied to a session — see Log your tire pressures. It isn't part of Team Garage at all.
"Where are setup sheets or pre-run/post-run checklists?"
Team Garage doesn't have either. It covers readiness and service history, not lap-day setup or checklist workflows.
"Can I track parts or work orders?"
Not currently — log that kind of detail in a service report's description instead.
"Why didn't a failed inspection automatically set the vehicle to Grounded?"
Readiness is always set by a person, never by the app — see Track readiness: Ready, Needs attention, Grounded. Logging a service report never changes readiness on its own; you still have to update the status yourself.
"Can I link a service report to a specific session?"
No — service reports live on the vehicle, sessions live in the driver's personal history, and Team Garage doesn't connect the two.
"Can I move a vehicle to a different driver?"
No — a vehicle belongs to one driver's profile for its whole life. There's no fleet screen for reassigning it; archive it on the old profile and add a new one on the new profile instead.
"Is there a mechanic role?"
No — LapperSnapper ships owner and coach accounts only. If you're the person doing the wrenching, that's a job you do under your coach or owner login, not a separate account type.
