Set up a driver's vehicle in Team Garage

Every driver on your team gets one vehicle in Team Garage — added from their profile, not from a shared fleet list. It's there for identity, readiness, and service history, so give it enough detail to be useful before the season gets busy.

Steps

1. Open the driver's profile and go to Team Garage.
2. Tap Add vehicle. (If the driver already has an active vehicle, archive it first — see Archiving and restoring a Team vehicle.)
3. Enter a name and pick a type — both required.
4. Fill in whatever else you know: make, model, year, chassis or frame number, engine make/model/serial, and notes. All optional — anything you skip just doesn't show on the vehicle screen.
5. Save. The vehicle becomes that driver's one active vehicle.

Who can do this

Only owner and coach accounts can add or edit a Team Garage vehicle — every write goes straight to the server, with no offline editing. If you're the person doing the wrenching, use your own coach or owner login; there's no separate mechanic account in LapperSnapper.

Once the vehicle's set up, mark it Track readiness: Ready, Needs attention, Grounded and start logging work with Log a service report.
