Understanding Team Garage vs. your personal Garage

LapperSnapper has two features with "Garage" in the name, and they don't work alike. Your personal Garage is about your own machines and your own sessions. Team Garage is about a coach or owner keeping track of their drivers' equipment. Knowing which one you're looking at avoids a lot of confusion.

Personal Garage

• Holds as many vehicles as you run — see Add your vehicles to the Garage.
• Its whole job is filtering: it's what lets you assign sessions to a machine, keep personal bests honest per vehicle, and log pressures per session (see Log your tire pressures).
• You manage it yourself, offline included — changes save locally and sync when you're back online.
• A vehicle can be archived, or permanently deleted.

Team Garage

• Holds exactly one active vehicle per driver, added from that driver's profile.
• It never touches sessions or personal bests — no filtering, no assignment, no calculations. It exists purely for identity, readiness, and service history.
• Only owner and coach accounts can write to it, and every change goes straight to the server — there's no offline editing. A connected driver gets read-only access to their own vehicle.
• A vehicle or service report can be archived, but never permanently deleted.

If you manage a team, this is also why your own account doesn't have a personal Garage — your drivers' vehicles live in Team Garage instead.
