Log a service report

A service report is the paper trail for a vehicle — every inspection, service, and repair a driver's machine goes through, in order.

Required

• Date
• Category — Inspection, Routine service, Repair, or Other.
• Title
• Description

Optional

• Engine hours and odometer (km) readings.
• A free-text next service reminder — this is just a note for whoever reads the report next; LapperSnapper doesn't send a notification for it.
• Photos — add as many as you need; they build into a gallery on the report, and count toward your team's storage like any other upload. See Adding photos to a vehicle or service report.

Made a mistake?

Edit the report to fix it. There's no delete button for service reports, on purpose — if something was logged wrong, correct it and note that it was corrected, rather than erasing it from the vehicle's history.

Sharing a report

Tap Share to send a report through your phone's normal share sheet. It goes out as a text summary — vehicle, date, category, description, and readings. Photos don't travel with a shared report; the recipient needs to open Team Garage to see them.
