LapperSnapper talks to your MyChron directly over its own Wi-Fi network. No laptop, no Race Studio, no memory card.

Before you start

• Turn the MyChron on and enable its Wi-Fi (check your MyChron manual for where this lives on your model).
• Stay near the logger — its Wi-Fi range is short.

Steps

1. On your phone, open Settings → Wi-Fi and join the logger's network. It's named AiM-… followed by your device identifier.
2. If your phone warns that this network has "no internet", keep the connection anyway — that's expected. The MyChron isn't an internet router.
3. Open LapperSnapper, go to the Import tab, and tap MyChron.
4. The app scans and finds your logger. Its sessions appear in a list.
5. Select the sessions you want and tap Download. You can select several — the app downloads them in turn and shows progress.
6. Downloaded sessions appear in Sessions, parsed and ready to analyze — including engine channels like RPM and temperatures in the Channels tab.

Your logger is remembered under Your devices on the Import screen, so next time it's one tap. You can give it a friendlier name — see Rename or forget a saved device.
