What a coach can and can't see about a linked driver

Once a driver claims their profile, coaches gain real visibility into their session history — but it isn't unlimited, and some things stay off-limits.

What coaches can see

• Every session the team logged for the driver, plus any earlier sessions the driver chose to share when they claimed.
• Every session the driver records or imports while they're on the team — these are shared automatically.
• The driver's racing info, contact details, and any other profile fields staff filled in, before or after claiming.

What stays private to staff

Anything written in the driver's Notes tab is for staff only. A claimed driver never sees notes written about them in their app.

What mechanics see

Mechanics see a driver's sessions, telemetry, and racing details such as number, class and nationality — never contact or personal details. The driver profile hides its Details and Notes tabs from them, and the owner can limit each mechanic to the drivers they look after — see Choosing which vehicles a mechanic can see.

What you can't do

• Hide individual sessions from coaches. Once a profile is claimed, every new session is shared — there's no per-session privacy setting.
• Change the sharing rules for just one driver or one team. They're the same for every team, and are listed under Data & Privacy.

The only way to stop sharing new sessions with a team is to leave it. When a driver leaves, sessions they shared from their own account drop out of the team's library, while sessions the team recorded stay with both. See Leaving or removing a driver from a team.
