Inviting a driver to claim their profile

An unclaimed profile stays that way until you invite the driver to claim it. Claiming links the profile to their own LapperSnapper Driver account — the owner or any coach can set this up.

Create a claim code

1. Open the driver's profile and go to the Details tab.
2. Tap Invite to claim.
3. The code appears once, in a sheet — tap Copy code or Share invite and send it however you'd like: text, email, in person.

You can also start from the Drivers tab: tap +, choose Create athlete invite code, and pick the driver.

Only one claim code can be outstanding per profile at a time. Codes are single-use and expire after seven days; while one is outstanding, the Details tab shows when it expires. If it goes stale or your plans change, tap Revoke claim code and create a fresh one.

What the driver sees

The driver redeems the code on their own Driver account — from Settings → Join a Team, or at signup by choosing Driver, then Yes — I have an invite code. They land on a consent screen spelling out what's about to happen — something like "47 sessions from the past 14 months will become yours." Nothing transfers until they tap Claim profile and join Team.
