Get Pro on a new phone (restore purchases)
Last updated Sep 25, 2026
Pro belongs to your LapperSnapper account, not to a phone.
Steps
- Install LapperSnapper on the new phone.
- Sign in with the same account you purchased with — the same email, Apple, or Google account. (Purchases require sign-in for exactly this reason.)
- Pro unlocks as soon as your entitlement syncs — usually seconds after signing in.
If Pro doesn't appear
- Check you're signed in as the right account — the name and @username at the top of Settings should be the account you bought with.
- Check the subscription is actually active in the store: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions.
- Make sure the phone is signed into the same store account that made the purchase, then open Settings → Subscription → Restore purchases. If the store says the purchase belongs to a different LapperSnapper account, the app asks Move your Pro subscription? — Move it here gives Pro to the account you're signed in with and removes it from the other one.
- Bought a Season Pass? Restore Purchases won't bring it back — Apple doesn't support restoring non-renewing purchases that way. It returns automatically the moment you sign in with the account you bought it on (step 2 above), no extra step needed.
- Still locked? Email contact@lappersnapper.com with your account email and the store receipt — we'll sort it.
Switching between iPhone and Android
Your account, sessions, cloud backup, and Pro itself move freely between platforms — sign in and Pro unlocks, whichever store you bought it from. Billing, though, stays with Apple or Google: manage or cancel it in the store you bought from. If you change platforms for good, cancel on the old store and re-subscribe on the new one once it runs out.
