Finding your way around the app

Last updated 8 days ago

LapperSnapper has four main tabs along the bottom.

The main tabs

  • Sessions — your library. Every recorded, downloaded, or imported session lives here, grouped and sortable. Tap a session to analyze it.
  • Record — live recording with your phone's GPS or a RaceBox, including Drive mode and the live HUD.
  • Import — bring data in: scan and download from a MyChron, or pick a file (.xrk, .ubx, .csv, .mp4). Your saved devices are managed here too.
  • Settings — units, your account, cloud sync, the Garage, and your Pro subscription.

Inside a session

Open any session and you get a row of tabs:

  • Overview — the summary: laps, best lap, coaching insights, and tire pressures.
  • Map — your racing line drawn on the circuit.
  • Laps — every lap with its time and sectors.
  • Compare — two laps side by side: speed and delta by distance, synced to the map.
  • Channels — the data traces: speed, and engine channels like RPM and temperatures if your logger records them.
  • Video — your GoPro footage with telemetry overlaid.

A good first route

Open the demo session, look at Overview for the coach's insight, then Compare your best lap against another — that's the core loop of the whole app.
