No. LapperSnapper is offline-first. You can record, import, and analyze sessions forever without creating an account, and nothing you do is uploaded anywhere.

What a free account adds

• A profile — username and display name.
• The ability to purchase Pro. Purchases attach to your account so Pro can follow you to a new phone.

What an account plus Pro adds

• Cloud sync and backup — your sessions, vehicles, and tire pressures backed up and available on a replacement phone. See How cloud sync and backup work.

When you're asked to sign in

The app asks you to sign in only where an account is genuinely required: buying Pro, or turning on cloud sync. Everything else stays open.
