Driver account vs. Team account: why you may need two

LapperSnapper accounts have one role each — you can't be a coach and a driver on the same login.
Why that's the rule
A Driver account is built to record and analyze one person's own sessions. A Team account is built to manage a roster of other people's sessions. Those are different jobs, and every account is permanently one or the other — see What is a LapperSnapper Team account?.
When you need both
Say you coach or own a team and want to record and analyze your own driving too — maybe you race on weekends and coach during the week. You'll need two separate accounts with two different email addresses: one Driver account for your own sessions, and one Team account for the team.
What happens if you try to mix them
Redeeming an invite code with the wrong kind of account — say, a driver invite code on a Team account, or a coach invite code on a Driver account — dead-ends with an error. If that happens, sign out and create a new account with a different email, rather than trying to convert the one you're already signed into.
