Driver account vs. Team account: why you may need two

LapperSnapper accounts have one role each — you can't be team staff (a coach or a mechanic) and a driver on the same login.
Why that's the rule
A Driver account is built to record and analyze one person's own sessions. A Team account is built to manage a roster of other people's sessions. Those are different jobs, and every account is permanently one or the other — see What is a LapperSnapper Team account?.
When you need both
Say you coach or own a team and want to record and analyze your own driving too — maybe you race on weekends and coach during the week. You'll need two separate accounts with two different email addresses: one Driver account for your own sessions, and one Team account for the team. If you want Pro for your own driving, it goes on the Driver account — a Team account can't hold personal Pro.
What happens if you try to mix them
Redeeming an invite code with the wrong kind of account — say, a driver claim code on a Team account, or a staff invite code (coach or mechanic) on a Driver account — dead-ends with an error. If that happens, sign out and create a new account with a different email, rather than trying to convert the one you're already signed into.
